I have been living here for 6 years and have no intention of moving. The location and amenities are great. The Security Manager Jasmine is especially amazing and has gone above and beyond to help me on several occasions with very serious matters.
At The Uptown we found everything we were looking for, the staff is wonderful, from the cleaning staff, maintenance, security, lease and the manager. They have always been helpful to everyone I have asked for help. The place looks extraordinary. Every day the staff goes out of their way to keep everything running smoothly. I tell my friends that everyone should move to this property. This is paradise! Everything is impeccable. Thank you uptown team
Current tenant of 6+ years. Will be leaving when lease is up due to the never ending fire alarms. They've gone off hundreds of times while I've lived here. They are ear piercingly loud, painfully loud. There has never been a fire.
Management said they are sensitive due to regulations but its absolutely ridiculous. It's 1:30 in the morning right now and alarm has been going off for 15 minutes. Apparently if a single tenant in one of the apartments burns food or smokes it triggers for the entire building. It has gotten to the point I put in ear plugs and ignore it. Great fire alarm.
They also just run them for hours once a year to check if each units alarm is working. Never have I experienced this in 20+ years renting. The complex is relatively nice but the alarms will make you and your pet's lives miserable.
Update: 3:00am and alarm is still wailing. Management will blame the alarm company I'm sure. So far beyond what any tenant should have to reasonably deal with.

Overall it was great Brianna was patient enough to answer all my questions and showing me multiple apartments in my budget and preferences.
Don't live here. The management is corrupt to its core. They will say something and do completely opposite. The apartment rent here is comparatively higher than the neighbouring buildings. They don't have air conditioning in their building and it is unlivable during summers/heat wave. They have fire alarms ringing almost every night that will make your life miserable. You will loose your packages too often and the guards will not worry it and will blame you and tell you to contact your delivery. My suggestion would be to live in other buildings which are in reality a luxury buildings. If I can I would give it zero stars.
The community manager Patty has the time to reply on google reviews but would deny meeting in person. I am taking a legal action against them. Beware of staying here! In her reply she is lying of the central location and amenities.
There is not even a ceiling fan in the bedrooms and if you ask them, they would want you to pay $300 out of your own pocket. The email and the phone number she provided is a common number/email where the employees won't care to reply.
I have been a been a tenant at The Uptown for almost 1 year and in my time I have experienced actions by management that I can only explain as predatory behavior.
During my time here, I have had my car towed from the garage, which I pay to park in. The complex hired a tow company to come remove cars for the garage without sharing a list of approved cars and/or license plates, only requiring them to look for a flimsy car tag that is now taped up because it had fallen off. They sent an email the Saturday evening before they started towing on a Sunday morning, not allowing adequate time to see the message. To not give your paying tenants 24-hours notice of any major changes in the security of the building and allowing companies to come in a tow is predatory. I had to pay $600 to get my car back.
Additionally, I had a package delivered to our Amazon lockers, which became “lost.” I was out of town at the time, and the package had exceeded the time allowed to be in the locker. When I returned, my package had been removed and I was told by staff that it was returned to sender without giving me a tracking number or proof of return. When I reached out to UPS, they had no record of my package being returned, resulting in a loss of $500. No accountability from staff at The Uptown.
My main pint of frustration with this place is that when they are hosting an event or social, there are flyers everywhere; however, when it comes to rules updates or important information, we get one notification. Since my car got towed, they started sending emails almost everyday because I’m sure I’m not the only paying tenant that got towed.
So if you’re looking for a place that’s reactive instead of proactive, this is your place.
I just moved into this place and loved every aspect of the move. I couldn't check the place in person, but Anthony was very helpful in giving me a virtual tour and taking me through the process, and very patient in answering all the random …
Save yourself the misery and don't move in here. The neighborhood is insanely loud and you will never get a good nights sleep on the weekends. The mailboxes have been smashed in multiple times and important mail stolen from me, which management has never addressed - I always find out when getting the mail myself. Fire alarms go off multiple times a month for no reason, and is also never addressed by management. My unit has cockroaches and no temperature control. I'm moving out early and paying thousands of dollars in overlapping rent because I cannot stand another second of living here.
And I know management will respond to this post saying they want to talk, but know that they are putting on a front, have heard of all these issues, and refuse to do anything. Seriously, the rent deals feel too good to be true because they are.
